We believe:
- In one
God existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:18-20, John 8:54-59, 10:25-33, Acts 5:3-4, Genesis
1:26).
- That the Bible is the inspired Word of God. That it is the relation of God to mankind regarding salvation and
Christian living (1 Thessalonians 2:13, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:19-21).
- That Jesus Christ is true God and true
man. That He died to pay the price for man's sin and that He arose bodily from the dead (Matthew 1:18-23, John 1:1-14,
1 Corinthians 15:3-19, Hebrews 4:14-16, 1 Peter 3:18).
- That the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to convict of sin and to regenerate
those who believe in Jesus Christ, continuing to indwell, to guide, to instruct and to empower believers. (John 3:5-18,
16:8-11, Romans 12:4-8, 1 Corinthians 12:1-13, Ephesians 1:13, 4:40, 5:18, Titus 3:5).
- That man was created in the
image of God but has become spiritually lost through sin (Genesis 1:26-27, 2:7, 3:1-4, Romans 3:9-12, 3:23, 5:12-14, John
3:5-16).
- That the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only grounds for salvation and that all
who believe in Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit (John 1:12, 3:16-18, 14:6, Romans 3:21-26, 4:5, 6:6, 1 Corinthians
15:1-4, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Ephesians 2:8-9, 1 Peter 1:18-25).
- That water baptism and the Lord's Supper are ordinances to be observed
by the Church (Matthew 28:19-20, Luke 22:7-23, Acts 2:41, 1 Corinthians 11:17-26).
- That the true Church is composed
of all who believe in Jesus Christ (Acts 2:40-47, 1 Corinthians 12:12-14, Ephesians 1:22-23, 3:4-6, Colossians 1:18).
- In the second
coming of the Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 24:29-31, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Titus 2:12-14, Revelation 19:11-21).
- In the bodily
resurrection of the dead: believers to eternal life and unbelievers to eternal punishment (Matthew 13:36-43, Luke 16:19-31,
1 Corinthians 15:12-26, 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10, Revelation 20:11-15).
- Homosexuality is an abomination before The
Lord (Leviticus 18:22, Leviticus 20:13, Romans 1:26-32, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, 1 Timothy 1:10); therefore, we do not condone
same sex relationships or marriages, nor do we license, ordain or consecrate practicing homosexuals.
